NEOM VAULT is a man-made canyon that acts as a gateway to the rest of the NEOM Trojena region. Access to The VAULT is via the 4.4 km (TTT) “Time Travel Tunnel” from the Mirage Visitor Center.
Consisting of a system structure with tensioned anchors, the NEOM VAULT Excavation has a total length of approximately 804 meters, a roof opening width of 253 meters, an internal width of approximately 120 meters at the center and a height of 112 meters. The North and South sides are connected by four bridge structures that provide access to different vault levels.

Construction and MEICA (Mechanical Electrical Instrumentation Control Automation) are working on the 4.4km NEOM Time Travel alignment (including twin bore tunnels and At-Grade section) connecting the Mirage Visitor Center to VAULT in the mountains. It is a transportation link to transport passengers and cargo up and down the mountain. The transportation concept is based on the funicular rail system.

EGİM Group and its team are responsible for the BIM works of the above works and are responsible for the Infrastructure, civil, mechanical and electrical "Shop-drawing and As-built" drawings to be produced according to NEOM procedures for the construction works throughout the entire process.

The Mirage Freight Depot, which includes the required MEICA, will be the only highway structure connected to the Time Travel Tunnel. All logistics requirements of the rail system up to “The VAULT” will need to be facilitated through the carrying capacity of the funicular system.
Vault excavation also includes rockfall barrier works, extra excavations and blasting excavation works, along with anchoring works for the D17 tunnel, D17 Link Tunnel and B1 tunnel support construction systems.
